Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing a web development partner is a big decision. Here are honest answers to the questions we get asked most — so you can make that decision with confidence.

Getting Started

What information do you need from me to get started?

Just a general idea of your business, what you want your website or store to do, and any examples of sites you like. We’ll handle the technical questions in our discovery call — you don’t need to arrive with a finished spec.

Yes. We work with clients across India and internationally, managing projects remotely through regular calls, email, and project tracking tools so distance and time zones aren’t a barrier.

Yes — this is one of the most common starting points. On our discovery call, we’ll ask about your budget, how much you’ll update the site yourself, whether you’re selling products, and your growth plans, then recommend the platform that actually fits rather than the one that’s easiest for us to sell.

Process & Timeline

How long does a typical project take?

A standard business website usually takes [2–4 weeks]; an eCommerce store (Shopify/Magento/WooCommerce) typically takes 3–6 weeks; custom web applications vary more, usually 6–12 weeks depending on complexity. We’ll give you a specific timeline in writing before work begins.

You’ll see progress throughout — we share staging links as sections are built, so you can review and give feedback along the way instead of only at final delivery.

Mainly timely feedback and content (text, images, logos) when we request it. Delays on the client side are the single biggest cause of missed timelines, so we’ll flag exactly what we need and when.

Minor revisions during the build are included. After launch, changes are handled either through a maintenance package or as billed hourly work — we’ll be clear about which applies before you’re ever charged.

Pricing & Payment

How much does a website or online store cost?

It depends on scope — a basic business site, a custom-designed eCommerce store, and a custom application all have very different costs. We provide a fixed-price quote after understanding your requirements, so there are no surprise charges later.

No. We work on a milestone payment structure (typically an upfront deposit, a mid-project payment, and a final payment on delivery), so you’re never paying in full before seeing real progress.

No. Domain, hosting, and any paid plugins/apps/themes are called out separately and clearly in your quote — you’ll know upfront if something is a recurring third-party cost versus a one-time development cost.

Yes, for larger custom application projects we can structure payments across development phases — this is something we discuss during quoting, not after the project starts.

Ownership, Code & Technical

Do I own my website once it's built?

Yes, completely. Once the final payment is made, you own the site, its code, and its content outright — there’s no vendor lock-in requiring you to stay with us.

Yes. Because we build on standard platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Laravel/PHP) rather than proprietary systems, your site is fully portable — you’re never locked into using us.

We follow standard security practices during development (secure coding practices, up-to-date core software, SSL setup) and offer ongoing maintenance plans that include security monitoring and updates, since most website vulnerabilities come from outdated software post-launch, not the initial build.

Yes — every site we build is designed and tested to work properly on phones and tablets, not just desktop, since the majority of visitors to most websites now come from mobile devices.

Support & Maintenance

What happens after my website goes live — do you disappear?

No. We offer ongoing maintenance packages covering updates, backups, and minor changes, and we’re reachable for support even outside a formal package for anything urgent.

If it’s within our standard post-launch support window, we fix it at no extra cost. Outside that window, it’s covered under a maintenance package or handled as a billed support request — we’ll always tell you which applies before doing any work.

Yes. Before final handover, we walk your team through how to update content, add products, or manage the areas of the site you’ll need to touch regularly, and provide basic documentation.

Trust & Quality

Can I see examples of your previous work?

Yes — see our Our Work page for recent projects. We’re also happy to share references from past clients on request.

Revisions are built into the process specifically so this doesn’t happen — you’ll review designs before development begins, so major direction changes happen early, when they’re cheap to make, not after the site is built.

Since 2015 — 20 years building websites and applications across WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Laravel, and custom PHP for clients in India and internationally.
